Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Latino Parents have been denied to be put on school board agenda for 4 years. Undercover cops prevent freedom of speech at school board meeting. District guilty of preferential hire, violations of Brown Act and Violation of 1st and 14th Amendments. The Board of Trustees will not allow for any public criticism of the present discriminatory practices. Since former Superintendent Paul Perotti left the district in December 2004 ....Latino Parents need not attend school board meetings. Parents told to wait until 11:00 PM or later for 2 minutes of time ! Request to be on the agenda denied. Immigrant parents , poor parents whose children qualify for Title I Funds Denied Funding because the district finds the paperwork too cumbersome to apply....Immigrants denied Title I Funds therefore violations of NCLB are rampant. Attorney General Jerry Brown's Office whistleblower office response is "HIRE A LAWYER" Our parents can't buy lunch for their children do you think we can afford a lawyer ? Help our parents...I am a parent and teacher who has suffered retaliation for trying to provide a voice for our Spanish speaking immigrant families. My husband and I were told by undercover police to leave a school board meeting....our offense was attemping to address the school board in an open session. We followed the rules...filled out the card and were asked/told to leave.
Our Congressman knows this district. It's not the same since Paul Perotti left. Poor parents can't afford a lawyer....aren't we protected by the 14th amendment....? Please investigate this matter. We have documentation to prove all charges.

The internet led me to this path...a place to leave a cry for help....if you would save a wolf , un lobo would you fight for a child ? Would you send a letter to Santa Clara Unified School Board of Trustees...demand that they acknowledge that poor immigrant children and their parents have rights equal rights as prtected by the United States Constitution.
